About RQ

RQ helps teams assign work, track task history, and keep conversations connected to the work that needs to get done.

RQ is a product of Roda Works LLC.

• Templates are now reusable workflow starting points with a Task Builder-style editor, ordered Sub Tasks, relative due dates and Save As.
• + New now lets users start from scratch or choose a Template. Using a Template pre-fills the normal Task Builder while keeping people, dates and every field editable before work is created.
• Template workflows calculate real Sub Task due dates from a Workflow Start Date and finish with Start Workflow.
• The Task detail page now shares the cleaner look and feel of the Task Builder.
• Task Builder mobile layouts were refined for clearer Sub Task dates, controls and compact phone use.

• New Task Builder lets you create a Task and its Sub Tasks together on one simple screen, with individual ball holders, dates, details and manual Sub Task ordering.
• People involved in the Task are automatically included as Sub Tasks are assigned, while additional people and departments can still be added manually.
• Notes provides a simple shared or private place for information that is not itself a Task.
• Glossary provides quick definitions with useful web fallback when RQ does not already know a term.
• Templates now appears in More as a Coming Soon feature while the reusable workflow experience is being finished.

• Tasks now show per-user NEW and changed indicators, with New and Changed filters to quickly find work needing attention.
• Installed RQ apps can show an attention badge or notification dot when new or changed work is waiting, after device notifications are enabled.
• Filtered Sub Task results now include their Parent Task for context.
• Parent Tasks no longer show Mark Done while open Sub Tasks remain.
• Backup screens and access rules were simplified for company managers, administrators, and RQ Support.

• Sub Task detail and edit screens now use Sub Task wording for Edit and Reopen actions, making the Parent Task/Sub Task distinction clearer.

• Simplified company Backups with automatic-backup guidance, a Backup Type selector, and one Create New action.
• Backup lists now show the selected type, server and folder location, friendlier dates, and Download/Delete actions.

• Corrected the Task comment Alert option so the checkbox and recipient label display cleanly on desktop and mobile.

• Comments can send an optional attention popup to the person who currently has the ball.
• Attention alerts wait until the recipient opens or dismisses them.
• Changing the Due Date on a snoozed Task clears the Snooze and confirms it on screen.

• Passing the ball back to the Task creator now asks whether to mark the Task complete or pass it back still in progress.
• Ordinary handoffs are unchanged.

• Current-user initials in the top-right identity badge, including while using Act As.
• Version History and expanded Tasks & Sub Tasks Help.

• Task and Sub Task Snooze without changing the real Due Date.
